FUBAR. With boots back on the ground, Call of Duty is making a return to its early 20th century roots. Call of Duty: WWII was showcased briefly at the Sony conference, revealing all the content and style we’ve come to expect from a Call of Duty game. Only this time we’re going back to simpler times.

Whether or not this is the boost that this franchise needs after so many years of criticism remains to be seen, but it looks like the World War II setting has definitely gotten some older fans back into the franchise, with some newer ones coming in as well..

Call of Duty: WWII releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 3rd 2017.
