After a long dry spell since the reveal trailer, we’ve finally gotten our first look into the gameplay of Insomniac’s Spider-Man. Following in the steps of arguably one of the best superhero games ever, Spider-Man looks a lot like the Batman Arkham franchise, with a combination of combat, grappling and mobility, and use of gadgets and the environment that all look highly reminiscent of Rocksteady’s famed franchise. But at the same time this is very much a Spider-Man game and it shows.

Hopefully as the year moves forward we’ll get to see more of the game and come to get an even better feel of what to expect.
