In a Bethesda and Fallout world, I feel 4A Games and the Metro series do not get nearly enough accolades. During Microsoft’s conference at E3, the newest Metro Exodus trailer was shown for this third title in the post-apocalyptic franchise.

The trailer opens with a man giving a sermon about surviving this harsh world but quickly goes into some game play, showing a number of weapons and customization. You are shown just how beautiful the plagued world is, and just how dangerous. Metro Exodus seems to retain everything that made it fantastic: a great narrative, great mechanics and plenty of mutated creatures to face off against.

Metro Exodus is due on what is fast becoming a packed February 22nd, 2019. Arriving on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
