Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Microsoft opened their conference with the return of a surprise favorite, the sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Will of the Wisps.

Following the story of Ori and the Blind Forest, the sequel will follow up with Ori and the last surviving offspring of the first game’s giant owl antagonist, Kuro. Now orphaned, what appears to be the last remaining of the species, Kuro’s child is now under the wing of Ori, not unlike Nuru did for Ori.

With the addition of a new character, it seems possible that Ori and the Will of the Wisps could potentially move in the direction of couch coop. While only hopeful speculation, it seems that the sequel is poised to add an additional player.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

If Ori and the Will of the Wisps continues to produce incredible visuals, beautiful original scores, a heartfelt story, and adrenaline fueled escape, it will certainly be a worthy successor.
