The Western release of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is finally almost here and it still looks as good as ever. The new trailer shows great battles, fierce enemies and even a bit of politics. However, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the music that played when the big war broke out.

Square Enix has confirmed the localized release will contain new a dash maneuver, photo mode and a new difficulty as well.

At the end of the trailer we do get an announcement of a special edition called ‘Edition of Light’ that comes with a few goodies. The Western release of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is due out on 9/4/2018! Check out the trailer below.
