Summer Game Fest 2026 Hands-On – N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO

Remember when N++, the third installment of the popular N series, was released in 2015 and was touted as the final entry in the series? Well, at the time Metanet Software believed that was to be the case, as they felt they had explored everything their multiplayer party game had to offer. Yet here we are in 2026, with the announcement of a new entry into the N series: N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO.

N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO Racing

Racing

N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO is a new game that offers single player and multiplayer options, with up to four players at once, although multiplayer is local co-op only. Unfortunately, no online multiplayer as of right now. This physics-based platformer has several different game modes and tons of new levels to try out.

During my time with N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO, three other players and I got to play the “Racing” and “Hunters vs. Ninjas” modes. Racing is everyone against each other, and involves collecting gold and trying to be the first to the finish location. The first player who enters the finish area locks their score in place, while the others will see their scores drop until they get to the finish point. It’s a good idea idea to collect as much gold as you can, but if you take too long treasure hunting, you might still come in last place if you’re the last to enter the finish section. Choose wisely.

N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO Hunters vs Ninjas

Hunters vs. Ninjas

Hunters vs Ninjas splits you into teams of two against two. Ninjas are the first to spawn and must collect gems and try to survive. Hunters spawn shortly after and must touch the Ninjas to kill them. Hunters can also turn themselves into rockets and guide their path towards their Ninja opponents as a means to take them down. Which ever team can survive the longest best two out of three rounds, wins.

The games  are simple, fast-paced, fun as hell, and extremely addicting. I’m already wishing I had this game in my possession to play it with my friends and family, but alas, it looks like I’ll have to wait for it to release sometime next year before I can unleash the hilarious mayhem on everyone I love and hold dear. Keep your eye on N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO, as it’s one of the most fun multiplayer party games I’ve played in a very long time.
