Welcome to Way Too Many Indies Wednesdays where we highlight four recently released or upcoming indie games that have caught our eye. In a market where so many games can get lost in the shuffle, some true gems can sneak right past us without us knowing. These are the four games this week that we want to keep our eye on, and we think you should as well!

This week’s collection is brought to you by Heidi Hawes, with a collection of games that focuses on uncovering dark secrets. I love games that bring thought-provoking narratives into the equation and can’t wait to learn more about what dark forces are at play here.

A race to discover hidden secrets about your past to save your beloved? Sign me up!

Hopefully I’ll have just as much fun exploring and getting lost in Neasied as I did in those lands.

“In this single-player narrative roguelite, govern a cursed island as you investigate your niece’s mysterious disappearance. Interrogate, trade, upgrade, and embark upon card-based expeditions to uncover dark secrets – before the next cataclysm strikes.” I adored Hilltop Studios’s Lil’ Guardsman, so I’ll happily check out anything they come out with. Combining a central mystery to be solved through exploration and card-based gameplay sounds bizarre and intriguing in all the best ways.
