“Dash and slash through an innovative kinetic metroidvania. The Tower of Time awaits – a rich, handcrafted world fractured by the collapse of time. Slice through foes in tough-as-talons bite-sized battles, and master the way of the bird warrior.” – I love a good metriodvania, especially when they try to do something a bit different in the gameplay department. Feather’s Edge caught my eye with it’s precision movement and combat system. It may look basic at first, but lining up the attacks and doing it all smooth will take some mastery.

“Guilty or Not is a single-player detective simulator where you are the judge, the jury, and the law. Investigate cases, gather evidence, and interrogate suspects and witnesses to uncover the truth. Justice is in your hands, even if it ends in death… What will your final verdict be?” – While Guilty or Not isn’t my typical kind of game, I have been enjoying playing more of these sims like Shift at Midnight and Quarantine Zone. However, what sets this one apart is that you need to investigate murders and be the judge, jury, and executioner in their court case.

I love the dedication to that classic survival horror feel, and the isometric camera perspective helps it standout.

“HEADCUTTER is a sci-fi spaghetti western FPS with brutal combat, destructible environments, and lots of gore. Track targets as a space bounty hunter, explore maps with multiple routes, and use the crunchy gunplay to cut their heads off so you can get your money!” – Oh boy, Headcutter looks like an absolute bonkers of a good time. If you’re into boomer shooters, then you absolutely need to keep your eye on this one!
